Growling interrupts the calm.
The sound sends a chill down my spine.
A searing pain erupts from my stomach.
I feel like my body is on fire.
My head pounds against my skull.
A black liquid pours down from my eyes.
The liquid mixes with the tears running on my face.
The sound of shredding cuts through my ears.
A tar-like substance covers my body.
All color fades from my eyes and skin.
I feel cold, like ice is running through my veins.
All the pain fades as I become my shadow.
